Windalps is created by skydivers Pauline Bouqueau and Thomas Robert in pursuit of the dream to combine passion and work in a place that reflects their values and vision of the sport. They were motivated to share their passion for flying and make it accessible for everyone.

For location they chose Chambery at the heart of the Alps - an area with a large active community but very few indoor venues and in close proximity to the drop zone. They opted for a standalone facility right next to the main highway in the region so the flight chamber is seen by 55K cars passing by daily.

Besides TT45 gen.II wind tunnel itself WindAlps offers 2 large fitness spaces for aerial yoga, acro, pilates, stretching as well as bungee, aerial, acrobatic dance, capoeira and circus classes. Followed by wellness area, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and restaurant with health oriented kitchen it is is a well rounded 1500 sq.m. aerial sports indoor center dedicated to flying and underlined by motto "fly your way"

“We decided on Tunnel Tech because the technology is the best at the moment : silent, good size, perfect shape, and a beautiful tunnel and machine. It also met all the technical constraints we had, and TunnelTeam’s team was always reactive to adapt for our specific demands' “- Pauline Bouqueau explains their manufacturer choice.

Initial financing came from Pauline and Thomas as well as 7 other independent investors, with this they secured additional loans from 3 banks and completed the project.
